Daikin Warranty
Daikin 5 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty
Daikin air conditioning products purchased and installed in Australia are backed by Daikin Australia’s 5 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
This warranty covers defects in design, materials, and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the original date of purchase. Where a covered fault occurs, Daikin Australia may repair or replace the equipment at their discretion, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Your Australian Consumer Law Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The Daikin 5 Year Warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
What the Warranty Covers
The Daikin warranty applies to eligible Daikin domestic and Sky Air products purchased and installed in Australia.
Covered equipment defects may be repaired or replaced by Daikin Australia or an authorised Daikin repair agent during normal business hours.

Owner’s Responsibility
To keep your system operating correctly and maintain warranty support, the owner is responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining the unit according to Daikin’s instructions
- Regularly cleaning air filters
- Keeping the outdoor unit clear of dirt, leaves, plants, and other obstructions
- Keeping the condensate drain clean
- Replacing exhausted batteries when required
- Applying additional corrosion protection where the unit is installed in harsh environments, such as coastal or industrial areas
Important Warranty Note
For warranty repairs, we recommend contacting your original Daikin dealer or installer first.
If Daikin Australia is requested to attend and the issue is found to be outside the warranty terms or not covered under Australian Consumer Law, the customer may be responsible for the associated service costs.
